About YOTSORF
Youth Off The Streets Overseas Relief Fund (YOTSORF) has been committed to supporting marginalized communities worldwide, focusing on children affected by conflict and crises. Since 2002, YOTSORF has worked in East Timor, where it created the Dili Youth Service, training local youth workers to run community programs.
After the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, the Fund partnered with Muhammadiyah to establish the Muhammadiyah Children’s Care Centre in Indonesia, providing vital care to orphaned children.
In Tanzania, YOTSORF runs St. James Kilolo Secondary School, offering education to orphans and children from remote villages, and a computer center in Baguia, which trains young people with digital skills. The Fund also supports Baguia Orphanage, providing food, emergency supplies, and infrastructure improvements, including the construction of a new building to house 50 children. Additionally, the Fund installed solar panels at the Baguia Computer Centre, ensuring sustainable energy use.
Since 2022, YOTSORF has partnered with Bembe to implement projects in rural Papua New Guinea. Initiatives include installing solar systems for schools and health centers, offering scholarships to rural nursing and teaching students, and improving literacy and numeracy with locally relevant educational resources. These projects aim to improve education, healthcare, and energy access for PNG communities.
Through collaborations with local partners, governments, and international organizations, YOTSORF continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and communities, creating lasting change and expanding its impact.

The mission of Youth Off The Streets Overseas Relief Fund is to make a positive difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and youth outside Australia by providing non religious and non discriminatory relief through working with overseas partners.
